Looks like Katrina Kaif, Sidharth Malhotra starrer 'Baar Baar Dekho' could not live up to the high expectation that was created after the trailer and popular track 'Kala Chashma' was release. The movie managed to collect an average amount of Rs. 21.16 crores in the Box Office in three days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).
As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh's tweet, the Nitya Mehra-directed flick "has fared way below expectations... Shockingly, the biz on Sun was lower than Fri and Sat, which says it all... contd." Giving the details of the collection, he further tweeted, "#BaarBaarDekho Fri 6.81 cr, Sat 7.65 cr, Sun 6.70 cr. Total: ? 21.16 cr. India biz."
Co-produced by Dharma Productions and Excel Entertainment, 'Baar Baar Dekho' was made on a budget of Rs. 50 crore, of which half of the total cost has been recovered through sale of satellite and music rights. The film critics have given mixed reaction for the flick and according to audience, it seems to be a onetime watch movie.
