Sports have fast emerged as one of the most favoured themes in Bollywood. After cricket ('Azhar,' 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story'), boxing ('Mary Kom,' 'Saala Khadoos') and athletics ('Bhaag Milkha Bhaag'), a film on tennis, a yet-to-be-titled project to be directed by Suhail Tatari (of 'Ankur Arora Murer Case') is all set to roll in May.
Divya Dutta's book to be called 'Me and Maa'
A source associated with the film reveals, "Much like 'Saala Khadoos' that had a real-life boxer (Ritika Singh) in the lead, Suhail has begun auditioning real-life tennis players to play the protagonists. He is looking for a 16-year-old to play the younger part. He will approach an Alister for the older avatars. Divya Dutta will play the aspiring tennis player's mother."
"I'm excited to feature in a sports-based project. No one knows I've signed the film yet, not even my family," Divya gushed. Suhail confirmed the news but refused to divulge further details.
