The controversies upon the Kalabhavan Mani condolence meet have reached a whole new level. The superstar who demanded to omit director Vinayan from the list of invitees, is none other than Mohanlal. Director Baiju Kottarakkara, who is also the president of MAKTA Federation, revealed that it was Mohanlal who asked the organisers not to invite Vinayan for the event, in the presence of a popular singer.
Mohanlal was not ready to alter his decision and confirmed that he will skip the function if Vinayan is attending. The organisers, who had no other option, decided not to invite Mani's favourite director. According to Baiju, Mohanlal wanted to include another director, who is popular for his army-oriented movies, in the invitees' list.
But that director hasn't ever worked with Kalabhavan Mani in his career. Baiju Kottarakkara, who was talking at the recent press meet held at Ernakulam press club, stated that it is extremely disappointing to watch a person like Mohanlal dragging his personal vengeance to the public.
The cold equation between Mohanlal and Vinayan is not a secret for the industry. The director had openly criticised the actor several times, even at the time of Lalisom controversy. Mohanlal, on the other hand, has always maintained silence over his issues with Vinayan. However, we would like to remind the complete actor that, there are no permanent friends or enemies in cinema.
