Here's some kickass news for all the torrent freaks. Kickass Torrents, the world's most popular site for online sharing, is back after being seized by the US Justice Department for several months. Apparently, the site has been brought back to life by a large number of Kickass Torrents old staff under a new domain name and with all its old content. Currently, the website is under construction with the servers being restored. Ever since KAT's founder Artem Vaulin was arrested in Poland, the staffers at Kat.cr found a new domain name katcr.co even as many clones of the site cropped up but with less up to date data. Also, most of the loyal uploaders of the site continued to share their uploads to keep the torrent community alive. Kat.cr admins and moderators say that their site has a valid 'DMCA takedown procedure', just like YouTube, at the time it was taken down and that they don't store any copyrighted material on their own servers.
