Kaththi Sandai is gearing up for its release on 23rd December, and Vishal has made a request to all the private bus owners. Vishal's official press note addressing the bus owners read, "Making of a film involves the lives of thousands of technicians in it. But due to some external factors, the film comes out on a pirated VCD/DVD. Those video cassettes are being screened in your buses, without your knowledge. This affects the lives of those technicians. I have continuously been giving my voice to eradicate piracy, which you must be aware of. This time, I'd like you guys also to join me and request all your staff members not to screen the pirated versions of our films in your buses. I kindly ask all the bus owners to become one among us and act accordingly."
