Kannan, the director of 'Jeyam Kondaan' has emerged from the shadows of Mani Ratnam.
'Jeyam Kondaan' stars 'Unnale Unnale' Vinay, Bhavana and Lekha Washington in lead roles. The young and aspiring film-maker is mighty hopeful that his film will go on to please movie fans.
The movie produced by Sathyajothy Films will hit silver screens soon. Says Kannan, 'it would be a youthful entertainer, and is sure to draw all sections of society to theatres'.
Echoing the same thought, Vinay says, 'It is a role quite different from what I played in my maiden venture. Kannan is a bundle of talent and I am confident that he would emulate his mentor and come out with an engrossing entertainer'.
Bhavana, the actress from the God's Own Country, says, ' 'Jeyam Kondaan' would be a movie to reckon with in my career. It has a good story line and there is good scope for me to perform'.
On her part, Lekha Washington says, 'There is more responsibility on my shoulders and I will live up to the expectations of my producers and director'.
Kannan adds, 'I learnt a lot working with my master Mani Ratnam. 'Jeyam Konadan' will be a quality film. Due credit should be given to my producers, who encouraged me a lot while shooting and also my artistes and technicians, whose cooperation helped me complete the project in quickly'.
The movie has musical score by Vidyasagar and lyrics by Valee, Na Muthukumar, Kabilan and Yugabharathy and dialogues by Pattukottai Prabhakar. Cinematography is by Balasubramaniam.
