If everything goes according to plans, Ajith and Vijay’s fans are likely to get ready for a clash at the Box-Office on next Pongal.
Ajith and Vijay hold top positions at the box-office (next to superstar Rajinikanth, of course) as far as Tamil films are concerned. Other heroes feel apprehensive in releasing their films on the same day when Ajith and Vijay’s films are scheduled to release in theatres.
It is now assumed that Ajith’s 58th film and Vijay’s 60th film are scheduled to release in theatres on Pongal next year. Ajith’s next film would be directed by Siva of Veeram and Vedalam fame while Vijay’s next will be directed by Bharathan. Both the films are likely to go to floors in May-June.
Both are expected to be pucca commercial ventures and as fans of Ajith and Vijay are in a jolly mood of late, greeting each other on the release of their favourite heroes’ films, it is expected to be a ‘peaceful’ Pongal next year!
