Earlier, it was reported that AL Vijay's father, film producer AL Alagappan was behind the actress's unofficial ban. But now, the rumour mills suggest that another person is behind the ban.
According to the grapevine, a Kollywood superstar, who is extremely irked with Amala Paul's overfriendliness with his son-in-law, a leading hero of the industry, is the mastermind behind the ban.
Apparently, the superstar is highly upset with both his son-in-law and Amala Paul, for disrespecting the institution of marriage. He is said to be trying all possible ways to save his daughter's marriage. If the rumours are to be true, the superstar has warned his son-in-law to stay away from Amala.
As a result, the actress was removed from the hero's highly anticipated project in the last minute. Sources suggest that popular Tamil production banners are fearing to cast Amala in their projects, as they want to be in the superstar's good book. Amala is currently concentrating on the Kannada movie industry.
