One of M T Vasudevan Nair's stories is going to be adapted into an English film. The film likely to be titled The Night 3 Step is to be directed by Bharat Bali.
The director who finds it a matter of big luck to get a script by M T Vasudevan Nair is keen on bringing either Mohanlal or Kamal Haasan in to play the male lead role.
He is planning to make it a big budget extravaganza with some Hollywood actors too in important roles.
But even before he finalized the hero, the director has signed up Asin for the female lead role. The actress is now working in Mumbai for her latest Hindi film, the remake of 'Ghajini'.
The actress who is also a Malayalee very well know the importance of M T Vasudevan Nair's stories and very easily agreed to do the big role. Other than her 'Dasavatharam' , 'Ghajini' remake and another film in Hindi, she has not yet accepted any other offer and is planning to concentrate on Bollywood and in bigger cinemas.
