Manorama, fondly called as Aachi, has an unfulfilled dream. Though the veteran actor has acted in more than 1000 films, her dream to don the role of a transgender is yet to be realized. Director Indiran has now given her the chance to fulfill her desire. Aachi is now playing the role of a transgender in her forthcoming movie 'John'.
Indiran, who directed 'Kadhaley Nimmathi' has conceived a subject based on the life of a transgender. He has felt that Aachi would be the right choice to carry the film by handling the challenging role.
The movie was launched on December 16 at AVM studio, in Chennai. SNS Media, the producers of the movie have arranged a dance programme by some transgender persons. Manorama joined them in their dance with enthusiasm.
It is said that Manorama wants to see the first show of the film. Director Indiran is thrilled about this request, as the seasoned actor has never wanted to see her films in her long career. She would see her films if they came on her way. Otherwise, she has never shown interest in seeing her films. This itself is a victory for us, said Indiran with proud.
