Child artist turned actress Sri Divya who is known for films like Hanuman Junction, Bus Stop and others is reportedly roped in for the heroine role in the Tamil and Telugu remake of Malayalam superhit film Bangalore Days.
Earlier, Samantha and Siddharth were roped in to reprise the lead roles played by Dulquer Salman and Nazriya Nazim. However, the alleged ex-lovers have recently confirmed that they are out of the project.
Makers of Banagalore Days remake were in search of a similar actress who is equally famous in Tollywood and Kollywood and finally signed in Sri Divya after seeing her performance in her recent Tamil hits Varathapadatha Valibar Sangam, Jeeva and others.
Arya, Nithya Menon and Sunil will be seen in other lead roles in this Bommarillu Bhaskar directorial film, which will go on floors in March.
