Ilayathalapathi Vijay's Theri is scheduled for worldwide release on 14th April, and the makers have kickstarted in the release rights business. The Tamilnadu release rights has been bagged by Monica Films Senthil for a huge sum. He has earlier distributed several superhit films like Endhiran, Singam etc.
Meanwhile, the Telugu rights was retained by Dil Raju of Sri Venkateswara Creations. Though both Tamil and Telugu versions were expected to release on the same day, latest buzz in Tollywood is that the release of Telugu version may get postponed, as several big films like Sardaar Gabbar Singh, Sarrainodu are releasing in the same period.
Theri directed by Atlee Kumar, will have Vijay in three different getups, and the cast also includes Samantha, Nainika, Amy Jackson, Mahendran, Rajendran and many more.Vijay has good popularity in both the Telugu speaking Statese and Dil Raju is looking for a apt time to cash in with it. The official release date is expected soon from Venkateswara Creations.
