After speculation in the media that Shriya might replace Trisha for the Tamil remake of the successful Hindi film 'Jab We Met' which starred Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor, the producers of the film Moser Baer and Eros International have confirmed that it would indeed be Trisha in the film.
Trisha is said to be very keen to act in the Tamil version of the Bollywood Blockbuster.
The role portrayed by Kareena Kapoor in the original was loved very much by the audience and gave Kareena one of the biggest hits of her career.
Not only that, the role has tremendous scope for an actress to show her skills in front of the camera as well as is a very different heroine role giving equal importance to both the lead characters.
Trisha is already the heroine of the film 'Abhiyum Naanum' produced by Mosear Baer.
After the stupendous success of the film, the Tamil remake which is expected to have a few changes in the script to suit audiences here, is expected to make waves.
