Megastar's 150th film was launched in the last week of April, but more is yet to be heard from the makers officially. All that has moved since then is, Devi Sri Prasad chipping in with his tunes. Also, it's heard that the makers have zeroed in on Rathnavelu as the cinematographer. Rathnavelu has done technically superior films like Shankar's Enthiran (Robot), Bejoy Nambiar's David, and Sukumar's 1-Nenokkadine. Known for his films in the direction of Sukumar (Arya and Jagadam are the other films for which he has cranked the camera), Rathnavelu's most recent release is Mahesh Babu's Brahmotsavam.
As for when the film is going on the floors, the industry sources have it that Chiranjeevi and team are gearing up for a June 6 start.
Besides, the speculation about who is the heroine hasn't died down. The makers are learnt to have roped in Anushka, though. If this is true, then we are in for a bonanza.
It's known that the film will hit the screens in January 2017, mostly locking horns with Balayya's Gautamiputra Satakarni.
